Author wraps 2023 with a NYC Holiday Visit 12/12-12/17

Author wraps 2023 with a visit to New York City re-tracing the steps of Abolitionist Frederick Douglass (the subject of her 2nd novel centering around the love story of Frederick and his wife, Anna) while connecting with historians and scholars centering the experience on Elizabeth Keckley's life and role in History.

Author will also conduct a fireside book reading and panel discussion with Q & A on how Lizzy's legacy as the first Haute Couturier in America, Freedom Fighter and Abolitionist influenced, inspired and opened space for the continuance of the Arts, and the advancement of Political and Social Justice Reform Movements that transcended throughout history.  

The evening will host a spoken word performance with Jazz music throughout the rest of the night in a private residence to bring in the holiday spirit and celebrate Lizzy's new season ahead for 2024.
